Beyond the Portals brings back Rallen and Jeena, the interplanetary patrol officers who’ve just gotta catch ‘em all. The titular portals are gateways to distant dimensions.

The first Spectrobes was in 3D, but Disney says the sequel boasts a “new three-dimensional perspective.” There will also be new battle features, new creatures, and an online battle mode via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Beyond the Portals will include Disney’s DGamer tech for communal gaming.

“This second game is part of our plan to expand the series in the coming years,” says Craig Relyea, senior VP of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios.

Rune Factory 2 is set several years after the first game. The evil
Sechs Empire has been defeated, and the Kingdom of Norad is once again

Over the course of the story, players will build and develop a farm,

In a first for the Rune Factory series, the story of Rune Factory 2 is
multigenerational. Players begin the game as Kyle, a strange man who
comes to Alvarna Village. Eventually, players will take on the role of
Kyle’s child, opening up a whole new adventure. It’s an innovative
feature that allows players to follow the story of their family and
the townsfolk over two generations!

Rune Factory 2 will make its first public appearance at next month’s E3
trade show in the Los Angeles area and will ship to retail later this
fall.

Σε προσφατη συνεντευξη του σε γνωστο RPG site, ο Jack Niida, υπευθυνος σε θεματα marketing στην ΝIS America, παραδεχτηκε πως η εταιρεια (ΝΙS) ετοιμαζει και μια Αγγλικη Version του παιχνιδιου που θα κυκλοφορησει σχεδον αμεσως μετα την Ιαπωνικη κυκλοφορια. Περισσοτερες πληροφοριες σχετικα με τον τιτλο δεν εγιναν γνωστες οπως το ποτε θα κυκλοφορησει ή εαν θα εχει καποια extras συγκριτικα με την Ιαπωνικη εκδοση.

Over its 12 levels, Spore Creatures seems like it’ll be a fun way to take some of the Spore ideas away from the PC. But admittedly, it seems to be targeting a different group than the full SimEverything game

The latest issue of Famitsu confirms the rumored DS sequel to Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. Shiren the Wanderer DS 2 is actually based on the second Game Boy game, Sabaku no Majou (Magic Castle of the Desert). It appears to be built on the same engine as the first DS game. The scans don’t disappoint, featuring a ton of screens and character art of the new roguelike.

This new DS game will interact with the Wii Shiren the Wanderer 3 in some way, allowing players to “lend a hand.” We believe this means that Shiren DS 2 players will be able to “rescue” Shiren 3 players over Wi-Fi, much like Shiren DS players can rescue each other.
